Software Development Kit (SDK)

As part of the JNIOR documentation, INTEG provides a Software Development Kit (SDK) for developing applications on the JNIOR written in Java and applications running on a PC written in VB.NET, C or other language that integrate the JNIOR information.

The SDK contains the following:

Embedded Applications on the JNIOR

• Java Platform Development Program
• JNIOR OS Interface Java Jar File (Overview)
• Maxim-Dallas TINI SDK
• Instructions on how to create the proper development environment for building Java applications to execute on the JNIOR

External Applications on a PC or other Computer

• A user can interface with the JNIOR several ways, including:
• OPC Server (provided by INTEG)
• Windows DLL (provided as part of SDK)
• JNIOR Protocol (format provided as part of SDK)
• Modbus Protocol (manual provided)
• Sample VB6 and VB.NET programs are provided that use the DLL and/or JNIOR protocol
• Support documentation
