Package Handling
INTEG’s package handling system allows companies to link their
distribution center and enterprise software to effectively manage
and optimize their package movement. Based on technology licensed
from Carnegie Mellon University, the INTEG system is scalable, flexible
and applicable to a variety of industries, including the newspaper
industry.
Bundle Distribution Control System
The INTEG Bundle Distribution Control System (BDCS) is a PC-based
system that has a number of key features:
- Links the plant floor to enterprise systems for receiving and
updating daily production schedules (manifests)
- Communicates with PLCs and other plant floor systems for real-time
data
- Integrates with the INTEG JNIOR for utilizing miscellaneous plant
signals
The BDCS seeks to increase productivity and decrease costs by providing
essential information to Managers, Operators and Technicians via
Real-time displays, Web based interfaces and data exchange with external
systems. Data can be interchanged with enterprise systems,
including ERP, MES and Maintenance Systems (Maximo).
